New LED Recessed Light with Baffle Trim from LED Waves
The BR25 Slim Baffle LED Recessed Light delivers a soft ambient glow from a discreet overhead light source.
Brooklyn-based lighting manufacturer LED Waves is pleased to introduce the PR25 Slim Baffle series to their selection of LED recessed lights. Available in 4-inch and 6-inch round apertures, each unit is designed to last twenty times longer and consume approximately 87% less energy than equivalent halogen bulbs typically used in these applications.
The new PR25 is similar in form to the PR15 Ultra Thin LED Recessed Light, an LED Waves best-seller. Both product lines feature an extremely low profile of approximately half an inch, enabling installations with very limited space above the ceiling. IC rated, each unit is safe to install in contact with building insulation.
Both recessed lights also come with a diffuser lens to produce smooth, even illumination. However, the PR25 takes it a step further with the addition of a baffle trim. This feature consists of stair-like concentric ridges leading out from the light aperture. The baffle ridges absorbs glare and softens the light as it exits the fixture, and the added height sets the LEDs higher up in the ceiling – making the light source less noticeable than the light itself.
This quality makes the BR25 Slim Baffle LED Recessed Light ideal for bedrooms, entertainment areas, offices, waiting areas, and other applications which call for a softer, more discreet ambient light.
