LED lamps are brighter and more economical than incandescent bulbs
Milwaukee, WI -(April, 2002) - LED lamps are the newest addition to Del City's extensive line of lighting products. They offer a longer life, brighter illumination and greater durability over incandescent lamps.
Longer Life - LED lamps have a 100,000-hour rated life and can last up to 20 years resulting in lower long-term costs.
Brighter Illumination - 100% of an LED's energy is produced as colored light, which results in a brighter illumination. With a lower current draw, power can be utilized in other areas of the vehicle.
Greater Durability - LEDs are shock and vibration resistant. Most circuits are epoxy-resin coated to resist moisture and corrosion. Polycarbonate lenses and housings are sonically sealed for added protection against harsh environments.
Sealed 4" round and oval Stop, Tail, Turn Lamps are available; along with the thin-line, scalloped, 2" and 2-1/2" inch style Clearance Marker Lamps. Pigtails, grommets and mounting hardware complete the line for ease of installation. All LED lamps are interchangeable with standard incandescent configurations for quick and easy retrofitting.
