Performance Meets Design in MaxLite's New LED PAR and BR Lamps

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. — MaxLite introduces LED PAR and BR lamps, with increased efficacy and smoother design, as energy-efficient replacements for incandescent bulbs in architectural, commercial and high-end residential applications.

Both lamp lines offer ENERGY STAR qualified models, while some BR lamps also meet the voluntary California Quality LED Lamp Specification. The bulbs are eligible for utility rebate programs nationwide.

“With efficacies of up to 82 lumens per watt, our newest generation of LED PAR and BR lamps further demonstrate our commitment to being at the forefront of energy-efficient lighting technology,” said Product Manager Alex Truong.

MaxLite’s LED PARs feature industry-leading light output made possible by a chip on board LED package that produces strong center beam candlepower for a bright light with superior thermal performance. Offered in 7-, 12- and 15- watt models, LED PAR lamps replace 50-, 75- and 120-watt incandescents, respectively. The PAR lamps are available in correlated color temperatures ranging from 2700K to 5000K and two beam spreads – a 25-degree narrow flood and 40-degree wide flood. The 12-watt PAR30 is available in short and long neck models for use within a wide variety of fixtures. A 17-watt, wet-listed PAR38 model is also available for outdoor applications.

MaxLite offers a full array of BR lamps that are ideally suited to downlighting applications with their smooth construction and dimming capabilities. The BR lamp lens conceals LEDs from sight and evenly distributes light, while its smooth aluminum housing conforms to standard ANSI form factors. MaxLite’s BR lamps are available in six wattages. The 7-, 11- and 17-watt LED models replace 50-, 65- and 100-watt incandescent lamps, respectively, and are offered in color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K and 4100K, with a color-rendering index (CRI) of greater than 80. The line also includes a 14-watt BR30 (75-watt equivalent) and 16-watt BR40 (90-watt equivalent), both with a superior 90 CRI. Available in a standard medium base, LED BR lamps retrofit track, display and recessed fixtures in a wide variety of architectural, residential, retail, office space and hospitality applications. They are suitable for use in damp locations.

Both the PAR and BR lamps are dimmable down to 10 percent and come with a five-year limited warranty.
