Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics, has just released an LED inspection drop light that is both waterproof and vapor proof, and constructed and certified to prevent water or moisture from seeping into the handle or light head when used in wet locations. This handheld lamp is offered in red, blue, green, amber and white light outputs and is an ideal fixture for inspection in manufacturing and automotive applications.

This inline transformer provides operators with the ability to monitor and adjust input current automatically, maintaining the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input across a specific range, and providing protection against voltage spikes or drops. The LED lamp emits 2,750 lumens of bright white light, with an angled board configuration offering 360º illumination.
This rugged-built LED handheld lamp is approved for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 environments. It is constructed of non-sparking aluminum and features a frosted lens design to ensure clarity and prevent blinding if looked at directly during operation. This general use LED fixture is also equipped with 100 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord fitted with an industrial grade cord cap that allows easy connection to common wall outlets - a variety of plug options are available, as well as flying leads with no plug for hardwire applications.
