Larson Electronics Releases a New High Intensity 50 Watt LED Navigation Light

Larson Electronics, leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial grade lighting, has added a fifty watt LED flood light to their catalog of high intensity lighting products.

The LEDLB-10R-CPR high intensity LED flood light from Larson Electronics is constructed with ten, five watt high output CREE LEDs that produce a combined total of 3,700 lumens of light output. This flood light is built to withstand extreme outdoor conditions and heavy duty use with its die-cast aluminum housing that is powder coated for corrosion resistance and a shatterproof polycarbonate lens. The aluminum housing incorporates integral cooling fins that release heat from the LED unit, aiding in color shifting and premature LED failure. This LED navigation light provides extreme durability and a long lamp life making it suitable for search and rescue missions on marine vessels, ATV’s, and emergency vehicles.

This light carries an IP67 rating, is waterproof to three meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius and operate on current ranging from 9 to 32 volts DC without any modifications necessary as a result. A twenty foot wiring harness is supplied with the light to allow ample length for connection to a low voltage power source. A single stainless steel stud protrudes from the bottom of the mount, enabling the operator to install the light using a simple through-hole mount.

“The beam on this ultra-compact LED light is effective to the far end of its reach and produces a wide sixty degree flood beam,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “With its compact housing and sleek appearance, this spot light will look great on any boat or vehicle where low voltage is available.”
