Lemnis Lighting and Partner Digital Light Bring New LED Offering to Market

NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO, May 6 -- LIGHTFAIR CONFERENCE -- Lemnis Lighting, Inc. the leader in LED lighting innovations and Digital Light, LLC, the leading global supplier of LED lighting, announce today the launch of the Pharox 6W LED bulb.

With dimming capabilities and a warm, soft glow (up to 3000k), the Pharox 6W is the only 60W equivalent to closely resemble a traditional incandescent bulb and fit residential and office fixtures. With up to 300 lumen light output and absence of mercury, the Pharox 6W has strong consumer appeal. All Pharox bulbs are made from recyclable materials and may be recycled with other metals and glass as indicated by the municipality in which the bulb is recycled.

Based on a breakthrough and patented technology, the Pharox 6W is up to 90% more energy efficient than an incandescent and lasts up to 25 times longer. Pharox 6W lasts up to six times longer than a CFL making it the most cost efficient light technology in the market today.

"Our goal is to provide quality LED lighting solutions to decrease our carbon footprint. If every American household switched one 60W light bulb to a Pharox light, America would save $1.5 billion in electricity costs and 9 billion kilowatt hours per year," said Warner Philips, founder, Lemnis Lighting. "Cost and energy reductions like these are pivotal in developing sustainable solutions."

"The illumination market, currently dominated by incandescent light bulbs, fluorescent lamps and halogen lighting, will be revolutionized through the use of white LED," said Steven Nia, chairman and CEO, Digital Light. "White LED requires less than 10% of the energy, as compared to traditional lighting and lasts 10 times longer. The Pharox 6W is a tremendous step forward in the advancement of LED lighting."

The Pharox 6W will be on display during Lightfair at booth #2208, and will be widely available for sale in July 2009 at www.amazon.com, and on the new Lemnis Lighting website www.mypharox.com. The Pharox 5W (40W replacement) is available today at www.amazon.com, or through Digital Light by contacting Jessica Chon at Jessica@eDigitalLight.com.
