Leche Pascual Expands Its Agreement with CHEP for Display

MADRID, SPAIN - November 30, 2006 - Grupo Leche Pascual, a leader in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector in Spain, has been working with CHEP for a number of years and today announced an expansion of its agreement with CHEP to supply and use CHEP display ½ pallets. According to a spokesperson from Leche Pascual, "The decision was made to expand our business with CHEP in order to reduce supply chain costs and maximise the quality of the service provided to our customers."

Previously, Leche Pascual had entrusted CHEP with 50% of its display ½ pallet requirements and selected another pooling operator to provide the remainder. They have now made the decision that CHEP will cover all of Leche Pascual's ½ pallet requirements, across its entire production plant network in Spain. This will increase the number of annual movements by almost 200,000.

"We are very pleased to be increasing our volume of business with Leche Pascual," said Miguel D'Cotta, President, CHEP Europe. "It is a reflection on the quality of service that CHEP has been able to provide, and despite having the option of using other display pallet providers in Spain, Leche Pascual has chosen to expand its business with CHEP. We are committed to delivering a quality service to all our customers and to continue improving levels of customer satisfaction," he concluded.

The CHEP display ½ pallet is an ideal merchandising unit, specially designed to improve customer brand awareness and increase retail sales. From a logistics point of view, the CHEP display pallet is strong and robust, designed to reduce product damage during production, storage, transportation, and distribution.
