Clifton, NJ-Company offers 243-L, a highly versatile lead foil tape designed for applications such as masking, shielding, sealing, and many decorative uses. Tape can be used effectively for masking electroplating, X-ray plates and chemical milling; in shielding as a radiation barrier; as a sealant for radioactive canisters; and, as a decorative product and assembly aid for stained glass windows.

Property values of the 243-L tape include a lead thickness of 0.004 inch +/- 10%, peel strength of 35 oz./inch of width, breaking strength of 10 lbs/inch of width, elongation at break of 15% and a shelf life of one year when stored under conditions of 70 degrees F(21 degrees C) and 50% R.H.
