LDS Assembly Systems Unveils New Easy-To-Clean Chute Assembly For Lakso Tablet Slat Fillers at Interphex 2007

Leominster, MA, March 8, 2007 -- LDS Assembly Systems will introduce a new design for the chute assembly on Lakso 450 and 990 tablet slat fillers in booth # 1577 at the Interphex 2007 show in New York April 24-26 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

The new chute assembly, with the same mounting as OEM-supplied assemblies, uses injection-molded funnels instead of formed stainless steel funnels. This design means fewer parts, which in turn makes it easier to disassemble and clean than the standard OEM chute assembly, according to Ed Mazur, President of LDS Assembly Systems.
[Editor's note: each time a manufacturer/packager runs a new product on a slat filler, they buy slats, brushes, divider assembly and chute assembly to fit the specific tablet.]

LDS Assembly Systems offers machine upgrades and rebuilds of all makes of slat fillers and cottoners for pharmaceutical/nutraceutical packaging, as well as pharmaceutical packaging line integration, engineering and design services in a 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility with full machine shop capabilities, including CNC, conventional machining and fabrication.
