Original Press Release:

Bright 18.1 Inch LCD Monitor Saves Space

If you need a large, bright screen on your desktop or benchtop, and you don't have much room to work with, the GDO 18 TFT LCD display from CyberResearch® fills the bill. You get 235 nits of brightness with SXGA resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, 16M colors, 0.281mm dot pitch, and an optional resistive touchscreen.

The included desktop stand swivels 30° left-to-right 5° forward, and 15° back. Only 4.6 inches thick, the GDO 18 display can be upgraded with a clamp-mount, weighted-stand, or through-desk swivel arm. Each of these arms provides five independent axes of rotation for optimum ergonomic positioning.

The desktop GDO 18 comes with a rugged ABS plastic case and desktop stand, so it stands up to 2-g peak-to-peak vibration at frequencies from 28 to 500 Hz. With a maximum operating temperature of 122°F (50°C), you'll quit before the display does.

The LCD display has a mean time between failures of 30,000 hours and provides comfortable viewing at horizontal and vertical angles up to 160°. Both VGA and DVI input connectors are available at the bottom of the case. In addition, the display provides one upstream and four downstream USB ports.

In addition to rugged active-matrix LCD displays - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers industrial and laboratory PCs, as well as data-acquisition and motion-control systems.
