Original Press Release:

Rugged LCD Displays Beat Vibration and Sunlight

The GDR monitors' ability to withstand shock and vibration comes from the inherent solidity of TFT LCD displays, cradled in two-piece cast-aluminum frames. The combination is supported on graceful cast-aluminum desktop stands or on practical swivel mounts that bolt to workbenches or walls.

15.1" models provide resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and a brightness of 250 nits. Standard 12.1" models provide 800 x 600 resolution with 300 nits of brightness, and the sunlight-readable GDR 12H provides 800 x 600 resolution at 800 nits of brightness. Analog resistive touchscreens are available for all models.

Front panels on all models are sealed and feature low-profile sealed rubber control buttons for NEMA 12 water resistance. Connectors are on the bottom of the case, facing down, so that water flows away from internal parts. Power cables are suspended from threaded nuts, so they don't vibrate loose.
