Densitron Fills the Gap Left by Discontinued Displays
Santa Fe Springs, March 15, 2004: Production lines using the now discontinued LMG7400 LCD display can continue unaffected and unaltered thanks to Densitron's direct replacement part, the LM7400.
In fact, products using this particular display can be upgraded, if required, because of the standard interface. Densitron's display can be supplied with reflective or transflective STN screens; extended temperature ranges or temperature compensation, or FSTN screens with on-board dc/dc converters. The display measures 159.4 x 101mm, and the viewing area is 123 x 68mm. Resolution of the display is 240x128, and the on-board controller is an LC798, that features an on-board character generator, and has the ability to display text and graphics at the same time.
Requiring no alteration to OEM manufacturing techniques, the LM7400 is just one of many standard displays from Densitron that easily replaces hard to find alternatives, or can be easily and quickly customized to provide a cost effective solution to unforeseen shortages.
