MS-Lay 1-CV Wire and Cable Lay Control System Designed for Cabling Machine Partial Retrofits
Swansea, MA. April 25th 2003- - Murdock Systems, Inc. announces the release of the MS-Lay 1-CV, Lay Control System designed for cabling machines used in the manufacturing of multi-conductor power, signal, and communication cables.
The MS-Lay 1-CV model is designed as a partial retrofit package for the end user's machine. It is used on equipment, which has integrated controls for the lay motor, but where a more accurate control interface is required.
Unlike most Lay Controls in use today, the MS-Lay 1-CV is specifically designed for the purpose of Lay control. The MS-Lay 1-CV is designed to replace Oscillating Lay Controls that produce inconsistent product, scrap, and most importantly are not designed as Lay Controls.
The MS-Lay 1-CV is low cost, operates using 100% digital PID Control and is designed for Plug-and-Play operation.

The Keypad Operator Interface features include individual Hot Keys to access: Desired Lay Set-point, Batch Preset, Batch Display, Totalizer Display, Reset, and Password Screens instantly. The operator interface is protected with a Level One Password.
The MS-Lay 1-CV is available in two different line voltage configurations:
