Norse Latching Systems for Steel Studs

June 21, 2018 – TORRINGTON, CT – Norse announces a new Latching System for Steel Studs for Prefab & KD Structures, etc. Works with standard steel studs; 3.5” x 1.5” - ,035 thick. Single and dual latch connections on stud face joints and stud side joints to accommodate extensive construction designs. Connections are hex key operated (3/4 turn by hand) so no power tools needed at erection or take-down. Clamping force: single latch 450#/.204kg, dual ganged latches 900#/.408kg. Steel stud preparation – dimpled rivet holes and slots are punched simultaneously in one press stroke.
