HARTFORD, Conn., (May 12, 2005) - Nielsen Sessions has introduced a latch that offers ease of operation and durability for securing electrical panel boxes, cabinets, and similar applications. The simple yet functional R6 latch uses a spring loop that acts as a cam to provide variable compression force that holds flush doors securely in place. Greater compression is applied as the cam is turned.

The cam loop is made of stainless steel for consistent performance and long service life.

The R6 latch is offered in a variety of sizes and configurations. Two standard knobs are offered: a knurled knob for convenient finger actuation and a screwdriver actuation knob. Hex, square, and access control tool drives are also available.
