New Addition to the ATC Laser Sensor Family
Lancaster, PA....Bright, powerful and cost efficient, Automatic Timing and Controls (ATC), announces a versatile new addition to its laser sensor family, the model 7708. This compact Class 2 sensor comes in an easy to mount rugged M18 compatible housing
(1.3"x 1.8" x 0.5") and offers both Proximity and Reflective mode sensing.
User selectable for Light Operate or Dark Operate, with an adjustable 8-turn intensity control, this sensor may be connected for either NPN or PNP output.
In Proximity mode it will accurately detect small objects at 12" and in Reflective mode it offers a distance of 160 feet.
Connection is via a sealed, standard 4-pin Pico style connector. The very bright visible laser beam, with a spot size of less than 1 mm at 2', makes setting up the unit both quick and convenient.
The 7708 is the latest addition to the growing ATC laser family. All ATC laser sensors feature modern state of the art technology that has been optimized for volume production. With a suggested list price of $135, everyone will be able to take advantage of high accuracy, small object detection at a distance greater than any standard photoelectric sensor.
