Ricoh Launches the Aficio SP 9100DN
Ricoh Setting the Pace in High-Priority Printing with New High-Volume Black and White Laser Printer
WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Sept. 19 // -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today launched the Aficio SP 9100DN, a high-speed, black and white network printer designed to meet the most demanding printing needs. With advanced document management features, seamless network connectivity and a wide array of automatic capabilities, the Aficio SP 9100DN provides the features needed to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Since time is an important factor in most printing environments, speed and efficiency are a necessity. The Aficio SP 9100DN has the ability to print 75 pages per minute (ppm) with a first time print speed of 5.5 seconds or less. The printer has multiple paper trays and a maximum capacity of 8,200 sheets, which reduce the need for user intervention during large jobs, allowing uninterrupted printing and exceptional time savings.
In addition, the Aficio SP 9100DN offers several networking features that streamline workflow and simplify projects. PDF Direct Print sends files directly to the printer in PDF format, greatly reducing traffic on the network. The WebImageMonitor feature allows the user to configure printer settings, check job status and select finishing options remotely via any standard Web browser. In addition, the Aficio SP 9100DN is equipped with Ricoh's Refined Print Command Stream (RCPS) driver. RCPS enables customers to store regularly applied print settings to the system, save them under individual user icons and initiate print jobs at anytime from their desktop.

Moreover, all information traveling through the network is encrypted, which ensures it remains secure while being sent to the printer.
