Technifor Introduces Compact Laser Marking System



Charlotte, NC March 15, 2005..Technifor announces the new compact TD410 laser marking system featuring short pulses for high peak power and excellent beam quality, providing optimum marking precision on metal and plastic parts. The unit is air cooled with a low maintenance fiber-coupled diode with a lifetime greater than 10,000 hours. An adjustable head with 360 degree orientation allows for greater application flexibility and versatility. The laser module and head is 30.3 inches wide x 5.5 inches wide x 9.3 inches high and weighs 33 lbs. The control unit fits a standard 19 inch rack and is 19.1 inches long x 18.9 inches wide x 10.5 inches high and weighs 44 lbs. The small footprint makes for easy integration on line or use as simple dedicated marking system.

Easy marking job programming includes user friendly marking T700W WIndows® software, marking of text, Bar codes, Data Matrix(TM) codes, logos, etc., and control of all traceability data: date, time, serialization, shift codes, control of variable data, interfaces with external databases and more. The TD410 is ready for computer free-use or direct link to PLC depending on application requirements. Marking applications served include medical instruments, electrical components, automotive, aerospace and general metalworking parts, identification plates and more.
