Original Press Release:

532nm "GREEN" Wavelength, LE-100GB Diode Pumped Laser Marking System

RMI Laser Division (former Laser Marking Technologies, LLC) proudly announces the release of its new 532nm "GREEN" wavelength, LE-100GB diode pumped laser marking system. The system is based on the same platform as RMI's recently released 1064nm, laser marking system. The LE-100GB incorporates a more powerful (Nd:YV04) laser source, while maintaining the high resolution graphics capability of the previous models. The highlight of improvements is the ability to mark electronics parts, silicon wafers, and plastics that cannot be marked using the 1064nm standard wavelength without damaging the performance of the parts. While producing significantly higher power output, the factory-sealed laser head utilizes fewer critical components for better efficiency and reliability. The system features Diode Pumped Vanadate Technology, with ultra compact size, 10,000-hour maintenance intervals, and cooled operation. RMI's LE-100GB marking system operates at standard line voltage, providing a simple, high-speed solution for marking texts, graphics, barcodes, and data matrix on various materials including all
metals and most plastics.

According to Donnie Heinrich, General Manager, at RMI Laser Division "We are very excited...our capabilities are obviously much broader with the addition of the 532nm system, opening up new markets, and new applications for our product line.
