Harrisburg, PA, June 14, 2002 - Laser Diode Incorporated, a unit of Tyco Electronics, is now offering eye safe 1550nm pulsed laser diodes. The lasers are available in four versions with peak powers between 10 and 40 watts.
These LDI lasers, which operate over a wide temperature range (-35C to +65C), are ideal for range finding and surveying applications where eye safety is of paramount importance. The lasers are available in a variety of package styles as well as a fiber pigtailed version.
