Laser Processing With Vision
The Smart Line Laser Production Center is now available with a fully automated vision system to add a greater dimension of productivity and accuracy to the laser cutting and marking operation. This system is fully automatic and may be taught to recognize fiducial marks, holes, corners, even color differentiation! The digital information is captured and directly sent to the Online motion controller, which will automatically position, skew and rotate the program for perfect registration on the product each cycle.
Unlike traditional grayscale systems, this technology uses brightness data in addition to color data allowing much more subtle image distinctions that are unrecognizable by monochrome processing! The Smart Line Laser with vision is ideal for cutting/depaneling printed circuit boards, plastic sheets, drilling, trimming, marking and scribing.
