New Laser Coder Provides Permanent, High-Resolution Marks at Rapid Throughput Rates
Arlington Heights, IL-Weber Marking Systems, Inc., introduces its new e-Solarmark vector laser coder, a system that produces high-quality, permanent marks on materials as diverse as paper, paperboard, foils, plastics, wood, glass, coated metal, and many other substrates.
The system is capable of marking up to 1,000 characters per second at product delivery speeds up to 560 feet per minute. Providing text as small as 0.020" high, numerous bar code symbologies, plus striking graphic images, e-Solarmark offers a selection of lenses to satisfy marking fields from 2.0" to 7.8" square.
Ideal for dynamic or static applications, the new laser system is ruggedly built, easy to install, and is virtually maintenance free. In addition, no costly consumable supplies are required for product or package marking.
The e-Solarmark comes with its own controller and PC-resident software. Hundreds of formats can be created, stored and accessed, and multiple coders can be networked from a single host.
