Niles, IL - A new low profile chiller designed specifically for laser applications has recently been introduced by PolyScience. Capable of maintaining process temperatures from 5° to 35°C (41° to 95°F), the Durachill(TM) DCA180 Chiller provides up to 6 kW of cooling at 30°C (86°F) ambient and is available with DI water compatible wetted parts. The unit measures 67.3 (H) x 68.6 (W) 106.7 (D) cm (26.5 x 27 x 42 inches) and fits conveniently under most workbenches.
Standard features include air cooling, one-touch temperature control with LED readout, digital pressure/flow rate readout, and analog/serial output capability. This compact, user-friendly chiller also features integral temperature, pressure, flow rate, and low liquid level alarms to signal potentially harmful process conditions. For optimum applications and performance flexibility, it is available with a centrifugal or turbine pump, conductivity display and control, ambient tracking probe, and a variety of other options. All control components are housed in a sealed NEMA 12 style enclosure.
