First FBO Network to Deploy New PASSUR Fuel Management Program
GREENWICH, Conn., June 12, 2007 -- Megadata Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MDTA) announced today that Landmark Aviation is the first FBO network to implement PASSUR Fuel Portal(TM) across its fixed base operation (FBO) network in the United States and Canada.
"We've been very pleased with the first wave of PASSUR FBO implementation - as have our customers. The new fuel portal provides support tools and customer reports on the PASSUR screen, which will help us better manage our customer data and allow our GM's to electronically manage fuel," said Andrew Farrant, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Landmark Aviation. "Standardized information that is available quickly and electronically is essential for an FBO network. The PASSUR Fuel enhancement is another important step in that direction, introducing a higher level of discipline into pricing and marketing of fuel."
Jim Barry, President and CEO of Megadata, which owns PASSUR, said, "Landmark continues to innovate in the market, and we're very pleased they are the first FBO network in the country to launch our new PASSUR Fuel program. Pricing is one of the most difficult responsibilities in business; we've been working hard at identifying ways to help our customers improve their pricing decisions, and we're particularly pleased that this program will benefit both the FBO as well as the customers they serve."
PASSUR Fuel Portal(TM) provides the latest advances in pricing fuel and maximizing volume for any organization selling fuel in the corporate market.
