Landa Electric-Driven Hot Water Pressure Washer Has Proven Record
Landa, North America's largest manufacturer of industrial pressure washers, recently marked the 25th anniversary of its premier line of electric-powered hot water pressure washers, the PHWS, which has served as the flagship series of the company's extensive equipment line of more than 120 hot water and 42 cold water power washers.
There are 16 PHWS models with cleaning power that ranges from 2.5 to 4.8 GPM (gallons per minute) and from 1,000 to 3,000 PSI (pounds per square inch) of pressure. All use diesel or heating oil to heat the water and models operate off a variety of electrical configurations, including 120V, 230V, 460V and 575V.
The PHWS features the Landa industrial, high-pressure pump, which has been engineered to deliver the same output as comparable pumps but at 10% fewer RPM, thus extending the life of the pump.
All models feature the innovations that have established the horizontal coil design as an energy-efficient alternative to the commonly used vertical, or stand-up, heating coil.
Among the innovations of the PHWS models include:o Landa's popular cold-rolled Schedule 80 Duracoil with a five-year warranty;o Coil is further protected by top and bottom wrap made of stainless steel;o Slide-out service platform for easy access by technicians;o Automatic time-delay shutdown for protection against operator neglect;o Spring-loaded, insulated trigger gun with variable pressure wand for remote operation of the spray, plus remote application of the soap;o Detergent injection system;o 50 ft. of wire-braid Tuff-Skin hose rated for up to 5800 PSI and features a 24-inch safety hose guard for operator protection;o Tri-lingual operating instructions in English, Spanish and French;o and Many "extras," such as steam combination, adjustable thermostat, magnetic starter and hour meter.
