Classify Hazards, Specify Protective Measures With Brady NFPA Labels

MILWAUKEE - (May 20, 2003) It is extremely important that employees be able to recognize hazardous materials, their characteristics and required protective equipment. That is why the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) created the familiar, color-coded classification "diamond" to identify health, fire, instability and specific hazards. Brady has developed NFPA classification levels that help keep the workplace safe.

Brady offers NFPA classification labels in rolls of 500 in three sizes: 2" x 2", 4" x 4" and 6" x 6". Brady also offers two NFPA classification labels for use in conjunction with specific chemicals. One version includes check off boxes for route of entry, health hazards, physical hazards and target organs and effects. The second version provides check off boxes for necessary protective equipment. Both labels include space for entering the name of the substance, and are available in four sizes: 3-1/2" x 5", 5" x 7", 7" x 10" and 10" x 14".
