Brady Introduces ID PAL(TM); Professional Quality Labeling Tool Designed Specifically For Installers, Promises New Affordability
MILWAUKEE, WI, December 3, 2001 - Brady Worldwide, Inc. today introduced the ID PAL(TM), an affordable, professional-quality thermal transfer labeling tool useful in a variety of applications including labels for any smooth/flat, curved (including wire and cable), textured or highly textured surfaces. The ID PAL's rugged, lightweight (1.2 lbs) design uses Brady's traditional high-quality label materials that offer superior adhesion, long life and provide an exposed edge for easy label removal. The unique top-loaded cartridge, built-in cutter and auto shutoff, reduce time and material waste for installers. ID PAL has a list price of $139.

The ID PAL comes equipped with electrical and datacomm symbols and also prints upper and lower case characters. Its built-in intelligence automatically senses tape width and formats the label. It offers five different font sizes and three label widths. A special wire marking mode, including ten pre-set lengths is also available for easy wire and cable marking.
ID PAL includes multiple line printing (general, banner & wire), automatic centering and automatic power off. As an introductory offer, ID PAL buyers who register their purchase online or at the distributor counter area will receive free impact guards and
double their warranty. The ID PAL is an efficient system and only requires six AA batteries. Product testing indicates that over 15 tape cartridges (3,500 one inch labels) can be used per set of batteries.
