Brady Releases New Update to LabelMark(TM) Label Design Software

LabelMark 5.2 Software features custom toolbar option, new part numbers and usability enhancements

Milwaukee, WI - Brady Worldwide, Inc. announced the release of a new software update to its LabelMark(TM) Label Design Software. With usability enhancements to both the Standard and Professional software versions, the LabelMark 5.2 update provides users with several new features and design tools to help them create labels more efficiently.

Software update offers toolbar customization, additional part names

LabelMark 5.2 Software gives users the ability to customize what commands appear on the platform's pre-defined toolbars. If an existing toolbar cannot be customized to meet their needs, the software update also features a new custom toolbar option. The custom toolbar can be used to aggregate commands from other toolbars, as well as new commands that are not available on any other toolbars.

In addition to the toolbar customization, the LabelMark 5.2 Software update also includes an expanded parts database. A variety of part numbers have been added to the database (including part with prefixes HX, 2HX, ZH, and 2ZH). When older file versions are opened, the software will give users the option to update their files to the new part.

Update to LabelMark Professional software includes new edit and import options

The software update includes several key usability enhancements for the Professional version of LabelMark software, including stretch rotated objects, batch importing, and Heatex text file conversion.

The software update gives users the ability to stretch an object when it is rotated, if the object allows. It also allows them to batch import files from previous versions of LabelMark software. Users can open or import multiple LabelMark 3, 4, and 5 Software files at a time by selecting the files in the open file dialog.

Another added feature in the Professional version is the ability to convert Heatex text files, which were created using a previous Brady software system called Heatex. This update allows users to convert Heatex text files, update the Heatex part in each file to a corresponding LabelMark part, and create a job file containing the new LabelMark files through an easy-to-use wizard.
