Weber Debuts the Versatile Alpha V40 p-s Label Applicator
Arlington Heights, IL-Weber Marking Systems, Inc., has introduced its exclusive Alpha V40 label applicator, a system employs the reliable wipe-on method to apply pressure-sensitive labels in line at high speed.
The Alpha V40 automatically peels labels from its supply roll, then gently but firmly affixes them to products or packages as they pass by on a conveyor line. The unit applies labels up to 4.72" wide and 98" long at speeds up to 210 feet per minute, with 0.04" placement accuracy.
The system's integrated controller is the key to its versatile functionality. The controller stores up to 30 label settings to facilitate changeover; automatically avoids double or skipped labeling; includes various LCD readouts concerning system status, and more.
The Alpha V40 can be oriented to apply labels to the side, top or bottom of products, and is available in both right- and left-hand configurations. Its powerful stepper motor helps provide system control and dependable labeling accuracy.
Options include various product sensors, an on-board label sensor, warning light array, and an adjustable stand.
