Union Process Introduces Versatile, Small Media Lab Mill

Akron, Ohio. Union Process, a manufacturer of grinding and dispersing equipment for a broad range of industrial applications, introduces the new DMQ-05 lab mill.

The DMQ is the newest member of the company's family of small media mills. The versatile, 1/2 liter tank-sized mill can be used in continuous as well as circulation modes. Ring screens
can be easily adjusted to accommodate the use of grinding media from 1 mm to as small as .3mm.

Like the DeltaMill® production mill, the DMQ-05 utilizes Delta discs. This proprietary design eliminates shaft whip and mill vibration, while providing much greater random media motion for
improved milling efficiency. The discs are indexed to provide directed and uniform media distribution throughout the mill chamber.

If required, the mill can be produced metal-free for certain ceramic applications where that is a consideration.

Servicing is easy thanks to a rugged and large open screen area positioned at the end of the mill.
