Dirak Introduces the Padlockable L-Handle With Defeater
CHANTILLY, VA-DIRAK introduces a new addition to its L-Handle product family - the padlockable L-Handle with defeater. The unique design of the L-Handle offers a cylinder barrel (key) or slotted insert (tool) access mechanism as well as a padlock for increased security, and accommodates single- or multi-point latching. The tool-operated style features a defeater, allowing for automatic closure of the handle, eliminating the need for any secondary latching operation by the user. The handle automatically locks with the defeater, providing security and restricting access even without the padlock.
The handle is suitable for left- and right-hand applications and allows for a quick, simple change of the cylinder barrel or slotted insert without the need of a tool or special device. The handle design seals against dust and water penetration, making it ideal for applications which require IP-65 rating.
