PLL: PCA1550A-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise



SAN DIEGO, October 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) model PCA1550A-LF in L-band. The PCA1550A-LF operates from 1500-1600 MHz with a 1MHz step size. This PLL features a typical phase noise of -101 dBc/Hz @10 KHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -70 dBc.

The PCA1550A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 1.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 30 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This PLL features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -15 dBc. It comes in Z-Comm's cPLL standard package measuring only 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The PCA1550A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
