Kraton is "Stretching the Limits" in the Design and Construction of Personal Care Products at the IDEA 2016 Expo

HOUSTON and BOSTON - Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. (NYSE: KRA), a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers, specialty polymers and high-value performance products derived from pine wood pulping co-products, announces plans to exhibit at IDEA 2016. The Kraton team will be available at booth #752, May 3rd-5th at the Boston Convention Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Kraton will showcase SBS and SIS polymers that provide stretch functionality for personal care product designs. Two examples of these polymers are: elastic films for the comfortable fit desired at the waist and hips to prevent leaks and elastic attachment adhesives designed to adhere elastic threads to polyolefin nonwovens and films. Polymer modification grades will also be available to enhance flexibility, impact or dampening. This portfolio of polymer solutions is constructed to enhance the performance of everyday products for applications such as personal hygiene, medical and consumer products.

"We believe customer engagement is critical to our success, which is why it is so important to be a part of events such as IDEA," said Robert Gregan, vice president of Sales for Performance Products. "As a long-time leader in the manufacture of styrenic block copolymers used in the personal care industry, we believe our innovation gives our customers a true competitive advantage." Kraton continuously strives to support product manufacturers with innovations that enhance product performance, improve processing capabilities and optimize cost effectiveness in their operations.
