A Czech steel foundry, with a proud tradition, has made the decision to shut down an arc furnace and look to the future by investing in the latest melting technology from Inductotherm.

A Czech steel foundry with a proud tradition a century old looks to the future by investing in the latest melting technology from Inductotherm. Kralovopolska a steel casting and centrifugal spinning foundry makes an assortment of castings ranging from valves and wheels to axles and bearing units.

The company based in Brno Czech Republic has recently made the decision to shut down an existing arc furnace installation and install a new cost effective Inductotherm induction system. The equipment is comprised of a 3 tonne Heavy Steel Shell furnace powered by a 1500KW VIP® POWER-TRAK® all controlled with Melt-Manager®, together with all necessary ancillary components.

The equipment is now installed and commissioned is ready to back up the Kralovopolska customer promise of "We are ready to satisfy your demands in the field of single-part and small series production".
