Kooltronic Air Conditioner Retired After 28 Years Of Continuous Service


November 19, 2007 - Pennington, N.J. Kooltronic was recently contacted by US Enrichment regarding replacement of Kooltronic
Air Conditioner model KAC8-52. This unit was retired from use at their Ohio facility, which
contracts with the United States Department of Energy to produce enriched uranium for use
in nuclear power plants. Based on the serial number, this unit was manufactured in 1979.
As a point of reference, when this unit was made, Jimmy Carter was President, Kramer vs.
Kramer was #1 at the box office and milk was $1.00 a gallon.
