SolidRun Introduces CuBoxTV 4GB, the Most Advanced Kodi Media Player
SolidRun expands its popular CuBoxTV(TM) Kodi (XBMC) media player into a variety of quad core configurations, ranging from 1 GB to 4GB, to meet high end user expectations.
TEL AVIV, Israel -- SolidRun Ltd. announces CuBoxTV 4GB based on Freescale's i.MX6 System-on-Chip. CuBoxTV 4GB joins SolidRun's innovative offering of small, high performance and low power solutions.
Kodi (formerly known as XBMC) is an open source software media center for playing videos, music, pictures and games. The application has been gaining growing popularity by millions of users globally. Kodi allows users to play and view most videos, music, podcasts, and other digital media files from local and network storage media and the internet.
CuBoxTV 4GB has a small 2"x2"x2" footprint and is based on i.MX6 Quad core SoC. The new offering includes the highest end configuration offering in the market including 4GB DDR3 RAM and a variety of connectivity options such as HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, Two USB-2.0 ports, Optical audio out along with an InfraRed receiver. CuBoxTV 4GB supports full HD multi format video decoding at over 100Mbps bit rate, as well as encoding of Full-HD video streams.
