Release of Version 2.1 of CyberLAB Knowledge Engineering System(TM)

CA (July 11, 2002) -Scientific Software, Inc., a world leader in providing software solutions to the scientific community, announces the release of version 2.1 of its web-based CyberLAB Knowledge Engineering System(TM). This new revision provides a truly scalable architecture to allow CyberLAB users to globally deploy the system across their enterprise. CyberLAB KES, used by leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and fast becoming the standard for knowledge management in the life sciences market, manages any and all electronic records for an enterprise. CyberLAB enhances organizations compliance with US FDA Part 11 requirements for electronic records and electronic signature.
Revision 2.1 offers many new features to the CyberLAB user. New features of revision 2.1 include:
- New "n-tier" architecture allowing for a scalable solution for any number of users or instruments. Customers can now load balance web servers and application servers and have an unlimited number of file transfer servers allowing for globally distributed implementations
- Oracle users will benefit from a new integrated search engine that enables sophisticated queries and data mining
- Support for Kanji characters
