Klein® Tools Announces its New Test & Measurement Meter Line

Klein clamp meters, multimeters and accessories are engineered to be tough and safe

Lincolnshire, IL – Klein Tools (http://www.kleintools.com), for professionals since 1857, today announces its new line of Test Measurement products  to meet the safety requirements of the industry and the durability demands of the jobsite. The line offers professional clamp meters and multimeters, along with a variety of additional products, including test kits, receptacle testers, and non-contact voltage testers. It also includes accessories such as line splitters, magnetic hangers, replacement leads and carrying cases.

Klein Tools Clamp And Multimeter Family

Klein’s new test measurement line is engineered to deliver all the measure performance, durability and capabilities needed on the jobsite. New meters and electrical testers feature easy-to-use dials and buttons, evenly backlit displays, molded test lead holders, and compact, easy-to-hold, protective over-molded housings. The entire line meets CAT III or CAT IV safety ratings as defined by IEC 61010 (3rd edition) standards.

“Safety is the most important feature in all Klein Tools’ products thus our new meters meet the latest safety standards in the industry,” said Sean O’Flaherty, senior product manager at Klein Tools. “Our new test and measurement line will exceed expectations on the jobsite and will serve as go-to products for years to come because of their toughness, functionality and capabilities.”

The professional clamp meters include test leads, batteries, and a nylon carrying case. The CL210 and CL310 include a thermocouple while the CL700 & CL800 include a thermocouple with adapter. The line consists of:

  • The CL110 – an auto-ranging digital clamp meter that measures AC current via the clamp, and AC/DC voltage, resistance and continuity via test leads.

  • The CL210 – an auto-ranging digital clamp meter with all the features of the CL110, and the additional capability to measure temperature via a thermocouple probe.

  • The CL310 – an auto-ranging True-Root-Mean-Squared (TRMS) digital clamp meter that measures AC current via the clamp, AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, and tests diodes via test leads, and measures temperature via a thermocouple probe.

  • The CL600 TOUGH METER – an auto-ranging TRMS digital clamp meter that measures AC current via the clamp, and measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, and tests diodes via test leads.

  • The CL700 TOUGH METER – an auto-ranging TRMS digital clamp meter with all the features of the CL600, as well as measures frequency, capacitance, and temperature via a thermocouple probe. It also features a Low Impedance (LoZ) mode for identifying and eliminating ghost or stray voltages.

  • The CL800 TOUGH METER – an auto-ranging TRMS digital clamp meter that measures AC/DC current via the clamp, measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, and tests diodes via test leads, and measures temperature via a thermocouple probe. It also features a Low Impedance (LoZ) mode for identifying and eliminating ghost or stray voltages and includes a built-in worklight.

All professional multimeters include test leads and batteries. The MM400, MM600 and MM700 include a thermocouple with adapter. In addition, the MM600 and MM700 also include alligator clips and a carrying case.  The line consists of:

The MM300 – a manual-ranging digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage, DC current, and resistance. It also tests diodes and continuity, and has a battery test mode.

The MM400 – an auto-ranging digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, and resistance. It also measures temperature, capacitance, frequency, duty-cycle, and tests diodes and continuity.

The MM600 TOUGH METER – an auto-ranging digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, and resistance. It also measures temperature, capacitance, frequency, duty-cycle, and tests diodes and continuity.

The MM700 TOUGH METER – an auto-ranging TRMS digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, and resistance. It also measures temperature, capacitance, frequency, duty-cycle, and tests diodes and continuity. In addition, the MM700 has a Low Impedance (LoZ) mode for identifying and eliminating ghost or stray voltages.

To support the test and measurement line, Klein has added new test kits, testers and accessories:

Electrical Test Kit (69149) – Includes the MM300 multimeter, a Non-Contact Voltage Tester (NCVT-1), Receptacle Tester (RT105), test leads and batteries.

Electrical Maintenance & Test Kit (CL110KIT) – Includes the CL110 clamp meter, Line Splitter 10x (69409), GFCI Receptacle Tester (RT210), test leads, batteries and carrying case.

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) Receptacle Tester (RT210) & Standard Receptacle Tester (RT110)

Replacement Test Leads – Straight Inputs (69418)

Line Splitter 10x (69409)

Magnetic Hanger (69417)
