Klüber Lubrication to Feature Reliable, Food-Grade Solutions at PACK EXPO International

Londonderry, NH – (Nov 2, 2016) – Klûber Lubrication, a worldwide manufacturer of specialty lubricants, will showcase its food-grade products at booth #7213 during PACK EXPO International, Nov. 6-9, 2016, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME is a food-grade lubricant with solids that provides advanced protection for oven chains even at extreme temperatures, while supporting the path to food safety. Unlike other lubricants that begin to evaporate at 500 to 600⁰F (260-315°C), leaving only residues behind, the solid particles in Klüberfood NH1 CH 6-120 SUPREME provide continued protection and substantially extend lubrication intervals. The lubricant is used with ovens producing tortillas, breads, pizza dough and other baked goods, to protect conveyor chains exposed to extreme temperatures, even up to 1200°F (650°C).

Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus oil series are synthetic high-temperature chain oils that incorporate special base oils to ensure reliable lubrication at high temperatures. With its special additives, these oils offer extremely good wear protection and show low evaporation losses and high oxidation stability for optimized relubrication intervals.

Designed for lubrication of all drive, control and transport chains subject to high temperatures and loads, the oils are suitable for use in chain applications, in beverage can decorating, bakery ovens, as well as other high-temperature chain applications in the food industry. Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 Plus oil series are NSF H1 registered, ISO 21469 certified, and were developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or animal feed industries.

Klüberfood NH1 4-002 is a food-grade lubricant available in a convenient aerosol spray can. Used as a penetrating oil that also protects metal machine surfaces by displacing water during wash downs, it uses a special oil formulation that is odor and taste neutral to ensure food quality. Klüberfood NH1 4-002 is NSF H1 registered and supports food safety and process reliability. It has good penetrating properties and water displacement, and reduces staining and corrosion achieved by water displacement.

Klübertemp GR AR 555 is a high performing lubricant offering exceptional corrosion protection and excellent evaporation stability. Developed for high-temperature bearing applications (up to 250 °C) and other applications exposed to aggressive media, Klübertemp GR AR 555 is a white, homogeneous long-term grease based on a perfluorinated polyether oil (PFPE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
