Keystone Gains ITAR Registration, Adds Machines and Improves Quality Inspection


Keystone Precision Engineering and Technologies has complied with and obtained ITAR registration status. Keystone is prepared to provide prototyping, replacement parts or production of parts used in weapons for defense contractors or suppliers.

Keystone Precision & Engineering entering our fifth year of business and coming off one of our best sales years ever. We have just purchased another piece of equipment for our shop, a HAAS CNC Lathe ST-20 and increased our shop capacity.

Our equipment list now includes HAAS DT-1 Milling Center 20 x 16 complete with Servo Rotary Head, HAAS DT-1 Milling Center 20 x 16 complete with Renishaw Probe System, 2 Fadal VMC 30x16 Vertical Milling Centers, 1 Hardinge Conquest GT-27 Super Precision Turning Center, Tesa Micro Height Gauge for Inspection and a Starret Co-ordinate Measuring Machine.

We secured our future by purchasing the 9000 sq. ft. buildings that house our company. We are currently remodeling the facilities to provide greater accessibility and process control for our operations as well as remodeling our office and programming areas. We are enlarging our Inspection area and thus providing ease of use for both our quality personnel as well as our machinists. The Starret Co-ordinate Measuring machine has also been upgraded to the latest software revision to improve inspection qulaity and through put.

Keystone is full service Machine shop offering engineering services as well as contract assembly. We are open to all types of machining projects from exotic metals to plastics. Any size project welcome.
