EAO Adds New Illuminated Keypad to Successful W.series Range

EAO, the expert for Human Machine Interfaces is delighted to add a new illuminated 16 key PIN-entry keypad to its highly successful W.series range. This highly aesthetic keypad is available with yellow, red, green or blue illumination. Designed for easy integration, the keypad is available with front or rear mounting alternatives, without the need for specialized mounting tools or fixing plates.

Very resistant to impact (IK 09), and sealed to IP67 at the front, the W.series range is ideal for ATMs, PIN-entry terminals, fuel pumps, ticket-issuing machines and other self-service, speed-payment systems.

The 16-key keypad features four double-sized keys for important commands like 'enter', 'cancel', 'info' and 'clear'. The raised key legends are compliant with many banking regulations for the visually-impaired, and, if required, EAO can further customize the keypads with laser-engraved symbols in a range of colors.

The all-metal grid (made of brushed stainless steel) and anti-pull-off keys are vandal-resistant, each one offering a service life of 4 million operations in temperatures between -25°C to +80°C.

Encryption modules can be integrated within these products through established and trusted third-party partnerships.
