The new, KeyLink(TM) IIs (U.S. power supply) and IIse (European power supply) is a multi-protocol stand-alone, universal serial key reader/writer that connects to a PC or host hardware via an RS-232 serial port. It uses a simple communication protocol and works with ALL current models of Datakey Electronics serial memory keys including LCK, ISK, SFK, SSK and the new IIK Series (with copy protection features). It is powered from a DC wall-mount power supply.
The KeyLink IIs is used in application development and for programming and re-programming the keys. This convenient, stand-alone peripheral allows Datakey Electronics' customers to easily upgrade or change the type of serial key they use-- without buying a new reader/writer.
The KeyLink IIs Reader/Writer comes with power supply, 9-pin serial communication cable, user manual, configuration and demo software, and mounting accessories. The KeyLink II comes in two versions - one containing a US power supply (KeyLink IIs) and another containing a continental European power supply (KeyLink IIse).
