Kaba Workforce Solutions Selected by Kinetic Concepts Incorporated as Company Wide Standard to Enhance Enterprise System Functionality

AutoTime for Oracle Strengthens Medical Technology Company's Workforce
Management Practices

MIRAMAR, Florida, March 19, 2007 - Kaba Benzing America, the North American operating
subsidiary of Kaba Holding AG, Switzerland (SWISS: KABN), the worldwide provider of
Enterprise-class Workforce Management solutions, today announced that Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE:KCI), has expanded their use of the AutoTime Workforce Optimization solution to enhance their Oracle Enterprise System across the KCI company.

KCI, a global medical technology company in advanced wound care and therapeutic surfaces, designs, manufactures, markets and services a wide range of proprietary products that assist to improve clinical outcomes for patients. The company is known worldwide for its patented line of advanced healthcare technologies and employs over six thousand people.

KCI initially deployed Kaba's AutoTime for Oracle in its manufacturing division in order to facilitate complex tracking of time and attendance, and is currently upgrading to integrate the system as the company-wide standard in their corporate, service, and research and development divisions. Approximately 2,500 employees will benefit from the system at the time of full integration.

Originally, KCI maintained four different time and attendance technologies in their various divisions and realized integration problems to the larger enterprise system. The company chose AutoTime for Oracle Applications as the optimal solution for consolidation and integration.

"Other time and attendance systems created problems because they did not accumulate real time and did not sync up as well with the quantity of our data and work order steps," said Tracy Smith, supervisor of Payroll for KCI. "AutoTime really changed that for us and helped us realize our business objectives."

KCI required several highly customized work order steps in its badge based tracking and
reporting system, including time and attendance, special events, such as vacation and sick time, and special projects for indirect and direct projects. With AutoTime, planners at KCI are able to create complex work orders in Oracle that are transferred to AutoTime, which in turn interfaces back to the Oracle system and reports the work orders, hours, operational steps and each specific action that has taken place. Each movement in the manufacturing process is now tracked. In addition, after AutoTime becomes fully integrated as the time and attendance and labor costing standard company-wide, the payroll department can extract time and attendance and special events data including sick days, paid time off, such as military leave or jury duty,
vacation time and medical leaves.
