Short Circuit Junction Tee
Minneapolis, MN-September 13, 2002-InterlinkBT(TM) has announced their new Short Circuit Junction Tee for FOUNDATION(TM) Fieldbus segments. The Tee provides a rugged connection to all of your Fieldbus devices.
Mechanically rugged, the new overmolded design provides unparalleled corrosive resistance. The circuit board is completely encapsulated in UV stable polyurethane. Available with stainless steel and nickel-plated brass connectors, the Junction Tee provides complete IP67 protection.
The Junction Tee provides short circuit protection to all six spurs. The current to each spur is limited to 55mA and provides a red LED indication if faulted. This isolates the network from an individual device failure. The Short Circuit Junction Tee is FM approved for CLASS 1, DIV 2 hazardous locations.
Keyed for FOUNDATION Fieldbus systems, the bus-in/bus-out feature eliminates the need for an additional splitter tee. A common ground is provided for all devices.
