With its advanced compact design, the new convenient and secure JSU Series Power Supply Junction Box from Triad Magnetics is ideal for hardwiring essential stationary equipment or devices, eliminating the potential for the accidental disconnection of unsightly wall plug-in power supplies with their sometimes stringy, tangled cords.
The UL-approved JSU Series Power Supply Junction Box offers superior performance and is available in two popular configurations: 12Vdc/1.5A or 24Vdc/0.75A. Regulation of line and load is ±5 percent. Ripple and noise is 150mV peak-to-peak maximum. No load standby power consumption is less than 100 mW.
The highly efficient design (≥85 percent) of the JSU Series Power Supply Junction Box meets US Department of Energy (DOE) Level VI Energy Efficiency Requirements. This standard helps reduce the consumption of electric power from carbon-based fossil fuel sources, which contributes to the global warming phenomenon.
Developed to power equipment for facilities, offices, retail, home and other light duty continuous-operating environments, the JSU Series Power Supply Junction Box comes in a thermoplastic package that allows it to operate over a temperature range of 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C). It can be stored prior to use at temperatures from -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C). The relative humidity safe operating range is from 5 to 95 percent (non-condensing).
The compact JSU Series Power Supply’s design allow it to fit almost anywhere. The power supply is mounted on a 4 x 4” plate that can be screwed directly onto a 4 x 4” electrical junction box. Two-wire connection to the wall power and attachment of the device via a simple screw terminal connector are all that is necessary for installation.
The highly dependable JSU Series Power Supply Junction Box features leakage current of ≤0.25 mA (264 Vac). Dielectric strength per hipot testing is 4242 Vdc for 3 seconds, 5 mA maximum. The JSU Series comes with Triad Magnetics’ comprehensive 5-year warranty.
