Jordan Aviation Signs Engine Management Program Agreement with Pratt & Whitney


SINGAPORE - MRO ASIA - Jordan Aviation selected Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners (GSP) for a three-year Engine Management Program agreement. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) company.

Through the agreement, Pratt & Whitney GSP will use its web-based Advanced Diagnostics & Engine Management (ADEM(TM)) tools to provide engine performance monitoring services. Pratt & Whitney's team of skilled engine performance analysts also will analyze the data to forecast engine health and maintenance for Jordan Aviation.

Jordan Aviation, a member of the Arab Air Carriers organization, is based in Amman, Jordan. The airline operates scheduled and worldwide charter services flights, mainly to the Middle East, Europe and Africa. It also provides wet lease services to major airlines seeking additional capacity. Jordan Aviation has recently moved its operation to its new hangars in Queen Alia Airport in order to develop heavy airframe maintenance capability and obtain 145 approvals.
