Cold formed using Swedish steel grade SS14.2343, which is made from the best A4 steel on the market, Bumax fasteners deliver significant performance advantages over other grades of hardened steel, including:

Bumax fasteners combine very low Carbon content with higher concentrations of Chromium, Nickel, and Molybdenum to ensure higher resistance against pitting, crevice and general corrosion. These high-strength fasteners are also capable of achieving higher clamploads than comparable fasteners of equal size, allowing design engineers to reduce hole diameters and/or use fewer fasteners without compromising performance.
