JLG Debuts Four New Die-Cast Models

McConnellsburg, PA. (December XX, 2006) -- Following last year's successful introduction of seven 1/32nd scale die-cast models of the company's aerial work platforms and telehandlers, JLG Industries is introducing four new die-cast models including the JLG® 860SJ telescopic boom lift, the JLG 10MSP Mobile Stock Picker, the JLG Tow-Pro(TM) T350 trailer-mounted boom lift and the Liftlux® 260-25 Scissor Lift. With these additions, JLG now offers the widest variety of die-cast aerials and telehandlers ever available from a single manufacturer.

Noted for their high level of detail, the models are painted in authentic JLG colors. Each has fully operable components, which include movable booms, adjustable steering and highly detailed controls. A unique variable height-locking feature on all models allows the booms and scissors to be raised to any height without loss of elevation over time. This makes them ideal for display in any home or office.

When fully extended, the JLG 860SJ reaches a height of 34 inches and features details including a SkyWelder® Workstation in the Sky® accessory package, a fully functioning 130° jib, 180° platform rotation, 360° continuous boom rotation, gull-wing service covers on both sides and an oscillating front axle.

The die-cast replica of the Tow-Pro T350 accurately captures the flexibility of this trailer-mounted boom lift. It features four outriggers that can be lowered to stabilize the unit when the boom is extended and comes equipped with a material-handling hook that can be interchanged with the platform basket for added realism.

The sleek silver styling and charcoal-painted frame distinguish the 10MSP Mobile Stock Picker while its life-like operation allows users to extend the mast into multiple configurations. This model machine features working front caster-style wheels, a material-loading tray that can be placed in multiple positions, and a saloon-style gated entry to the platform.

The huge model of the LIFTLUX 260-25 is the largest scissor lift in the model world today. With a fully functioning scissor assembly this model is able to extend to nearly 3 feet into the air. The extensive detailing of the LIFTLUX 260-25 shows numerous features including the powerful diesel engine; operator control station; functioning outriggers; and deck extension.

Prices for these new and other die-cast JLG models range from $29.99 to $89.99 depending on model. For further information or to place orders for die-cast models or other JLG Gear, go to www.jlgmerchandise.com.
