Brookfield, WI (October 2002) - Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces two new orbital action jig saw kits with Quik-Lok(TM) blade clamp and keyless bevel shoe adjustment. At 6.2 amps these jig saws are the most powerful in category. With 4-position orbital cutting action and a 7 setting speed dial with 500-3000 spm these are the most versatile saws on the market.
The new saws feature a sturdy 6.25-inch cast aluminum base that provides greater stability and the base plate has the tightest distance to nose of saw for cutting in tight corners. A keyless 45-degree bevel shoe adjusts quickly for angle cuts. The low position roller guide ensures blade stability and precision of cut.
Available as a Top Handle (Model 6266-22) or Body Grip (Model 6276-21) versions these jig saws have an all metal gearcase for more durability. Milwaukee's new jig saw comes standard with a built-in dust collection port that allows attachment to a vacuum cleaner or system. The saws come standard with a 9.5-foot rubber cord and the impact resistant carrying case.
