Jet Edge Stand Features New Eco-Friendly ECO-JET Waterjet Pump, 6200 Bar X-Stream Intensifier Pump, Mobile Waterjetting Tools

ST. MICHAEL, Minnesota, U.S.A. - Jet Edge, Inc., a global manufacturer of ultra-high pressure waterjet systems, will exhibit its latest waterjet technology at EUROBLECH, 23-27 October at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover, Germany. Look for Jet Edge in Hall 15, Stand L60.

During EUROBLECH, Jet Edge will showcase several innovative water jet cutting and UHP surface preparation products, including its new 3800 bar eco-friendly ECO-JET direct-drive waterjet pump, its 6200 bar X-Stream waterjet intensifier pump, Spyder portable waterjet cutting system and Gyra Jet LP waterjetting lance.

ECO-JET Direct Drive Waterjet Pump

Eco-friendly and budget-friendly, the 3800 bar 22kw Jet Edge ECO-JET waterjet pump features an efficient direct drive pump design that consumes up to 40% less electricity than a 37kw hydraulic intensifier pump, but produces the same output. The ECO-JET produces up to 3.78 L/m of 3800 bar ultra-high pressure (UHP) water for precision cutting, cleaning and surface preparation applications. It runs a .38 mm waterjet orifice and can power most manufacturers' waterjet cutting systems and waterjet tools.

X-Stream Waterjet Intensifier Pumps

Jet Edge's 6200 bar, 75kw X-Stream xP90-100 waterjet intensifier pump is capable of producing 6200 bar and supports 5200 bar continuous operating pressure. The X-Stream achieves much faster cutting speeds and drastically lowers operating costs compared to traditional 4100 bar water jet pumps, enabling users to increase productivity and reduce part costs.

The Jet Edge X-Stream produces 50% more pressure than a 4100 bar intensifier pump, resulting in a 40-50% increase in productivity for many materials. Compared to a 4100 bar pump, typical operating pressures of 5200 bar use 30% less water, 30% less power, and up to 50% less abrasive, resulting in a 40% reduction in operating costs. The xP90-100 is capable of producing flow rates of 5.49 L/m and supports up to a .43 mm orifice. Fittings and tubing are rated for 6900 bar. The X-Stream is backed by nearly 10 years of extensive research and development in hyper-pressure technology. The X-Stream is also available in a 37kw model.

Jet Edge Spyder Portable Abrasivejet System

Jet Edge's Spyder Abrasivejet Cutting System is a portable linear and pipe cutting system designed for use in remote and/or potentially hazardous environments. It is ideal for cutting pipelines, steel reinforced concrete, reactor vessels and fabricated metal structures. The Spyder is a pneumatically controlled mobile abrasive waterjet system that moves along rigid, flexible or pipe tracks. Its abrasivejet cutting head can be angled for beveling cuts. An optional radius/circle fixture can be added for increased versatility.

Jet Edge Gyra Jet LP Waterjetting Lance

The Gyra Jet LP is a rotating hand-held water blasting tool that directs up to 3800 bar of UHP water for water jet surface preparation, industrial cleaning, coating removal, and concrete demolition. Typical applications are removal of damaged surfaces, preparation for recoating or painting, and stripping corrosion and over-spray.
